Let's take care of that unfriendly combination right now:
First, sit up straight and tall, relax your arms long at your side. Take a deep breath in, filling your abdomen entirely, and then slowly let it out. Inhale again, big is fine, and as you do, squeeze your shoulders as high up as you can, then quickly release them with your exhale. Repeat this three times and your ready for part two, eliminating Thursday's headache.
Now, still sitting up straight and tall, arms long at your side (I know you remember!) take your right arm out on the diagonal in front of you and to your right about 45 degrees. Keeping your head up and your ribcage lifted, bend your right elbow and gently place your right fingertips on your head. Now, while you keep your shoulders down and level, lower your right ear to your right shoulder. Your right arm is a very light weight aiding the stretch. Wait 10 seconds or so, feeling the stretch in the left side of your neck, and now turn your head gently so your chin faces your right armpit. Drop your chin toward your shoulder now and feel the stretch a bit further back in your neck. Release your hand and bring your head back to facing forward, your chest is still lifted, and your shoulders still down.
Next side:

There now, isn't that better? Have a glass of water, and Teri, time for your 15 minute brisk walk around the neighborhood.
Happy Thursday, see you tomorrow!
